Thank you to Adam and all of the Tampa Bay’s Channel 10 News for picking up my story and for using some of my photos in the story.
A very Merry Christmas to all the 14degrees Off The Beaten Track blog readers. May this be a restful and enjoyable few days for you all.
Merry Christmas to you too! And all the best in 2008! That you accomplish your dream and get back home safely. It will certainly feel great to sleep in your own bed after such a long time. As no matter how great all the adventures are, home is always a home.
Best regards from Slovenia,
Peter

I was wondering how you spent Christmas Day, but I guess your in the middle of it right now, Tampa time.
As usual,we had too much food and even though there were 17 of us to eat it, a lot was left over. However, Emjay & Karl and Mel were able to take it away in 'doggy' bags to their flats.
By the way, Eline went out of labour so didn't have a Christmas baby after all.
Heh, merry Christmas Ron.
Hi Ron/Rob/Robbie/Bob/Robert/Bert,
You are going to have to practice sounding the last consonant (i.e the 'b') How was Christmas Tampa Style? Glad you had other people to share the day with. Looks like you've had a close shave – with an aliigator?
Hey Rob, had a great Christmas with all the bods over. Played a really fun game called greed. Everyone brought along a $2 wrapped gift with them. After we had eaten we all got in a circle and started throwing a dice. Once you got a six you could pick a parcel from the middle, unwrap it and put it at your feet. If someone else got a six they could either pick a parcel from the middle or steal someone elses! Lots of presents getting stolen and lots of laughter! Have to make it a Christmas tradition I think. Hope you had a great Christmas day. Sam and Rach are coming up tomorrow – (Thursday), so will get to see them for a few days. It's interesting that you liked the cigar experience, Nigel really likes a cigar now and then and so does Sam. Quite different from smoking horrible cigarettes!!!
Hi Rob,
Merry Christmas!
Unfortunately I am at work all this week, but it is nice to know that so many others have been able to celebrate the holiday with family and friends.
Take care!
